On Tuesday 24th of August, I had the exciting opportunity of being invited onto BBC Radio Guernsey to talk about some of the adventures I’d been doing in the Channel Islands this summer.
Oscar Pearson runs the breakfast show from 6am-10am. He’d seen a few of the posts I’d been making on Twitter about my hikes, wild swims, and coasteering adventures on Sark and Guernsey.
He reached out through my website to invite me to speak to his listeners about what I was doing and why.
This gave me a great opportunity to speak a bit about Walk Wild, what I wanted to achieve from my adventures, and how I hoped to inspire others to get outdoors as well.
Listen to the clip below!
One of the key adventures I mention in the BBC Radio Guernsey interview was the 30km hike I did from St Peter Port to Rocquaine.
This route took me along some of the most beautiful stretches of the Guernsey coastline and was a highlight of my time in the Channel Islands.
You can watch the travel film I made below which shows you a little more of the history and nature I experienced on this sublime hiking trail.
